Opera for iOS offers new Modular Design in beta version

Opera announced last week the availability of the new beta version of the browser for iOS, that now features a completely redesigned user interface inspired by the award-winning aesthetics of Opera One. The app, reimagined to provide an even more intuitive and functional experience, is available for testing and is expected to be officially released with additional features and updates at the end of September

The latest version of the browser features a more intuitive system, wrapped in a clean modular interface. The address bar has been moved to the bottom to improve accessibility. It will completely disappear when the user starts to scroll the page. This design allows switching between three navigation styles: Standard Navigation, Quick Action Button and the new bottom address bar

Furthermore, the old news feed has been replaced by a carousel on the homepage. As you slide through this carousel, will it be possible to see a timeline with highlighted news articles that opens a separate news page. This will provide more detailed coverage and a more attentive and distraction-free reading. The home also includes the latest football matches with live scores, ensuring that people do not miss any action from their favorite teams

Other news in this update includes the swipe-to-search feature – in which users will be able to open the search menu without needing to use the standard navigation or the bottom bar – and new research suggestions. In this way, the company seeks to make it easier to find what you are looking for

Opera for iOS also maintains its focus on speed and security, with a variety of integrated features, such as ad blockers and trackers and a free VPN. And, like all the main products of Opera, the browser features Aria – the company's free and unlimited AI

In this new beta version, it will also be possible to ask Aria to generate images on the phone when using the Imagen2 image generation model, do Google. Just ask the AI to create what is on your mind, and the browser's artificial intelligence will turn this into reality. If the result is not exactly as expected, Aria can refine the image until the person is satisfied

Opera invites technology enthusiasts and daily iOS users to participate in the beta test of the new version for iOS. To participate, just sign uphereto receive the test link via TestFlight. Feedback can be sent directly via TestFlight or through Opera's social media channels and forums
