The deadline for submitting the 2025 Income Tax return has been open since March 17. This year, some news has raised questions among taxpayers, especially regarding the need to declare transactions made via Pix.

For taxpayers who operate as individuals, it is necessary to declare transactions made by Pix when taxable income exceeds R$ 33.888,00 throughout the year.
If the taxpayer received sufficient amounts to generate a significant variation in the account balance at the end of the year, these values must be declared. This is because of the Income Tax, as the name itself suggests, incides on income, and not about the way it was received, explain to the specialist.
