The Caio Award 2024 – main award of the events market – recognized the 21st birthday party of theKaBuMas a standout case in the social event of the year category (there was no first place). The ceremony for the delivery of the Silver Alligator took place this week in São Paulo, in the 25th edition of the award, that values the work of companies and professionals in the sector since 1999.
To celebrate the date in style and enhance the brand's traditional anniversary campaign, Mega May call, the largest technology and games e-commerce in Latin America held a big party on May 23. The event took place in the historic building Central 1926, in Bela Vista, for big names in the scene, including influencers, press and partners. The 21st birthday party of KaBuM! moved the São Paulo capital with musical attractions, experiences, games and technological activations
The KaBuM! has the mission of bringing more fun and technology to people's lives. And with the brand's anniversary party, it couldn't have been any different. The challenge of the event was to transport the guests to this setting, with creative activations, inclusive with the use of artificial intelligence. In environments with the brand's visual identity, composed of an urban and tech climate, the activities included customizing mousepads in an immersive space, free flash tattoos with a gamer theme – developed by the tattoo artistLucas Marinos -, create virtual graffiti and take photos, in addition to an immersive room where users connected with an AI tool to create scenarios and transform into characters.
For the party, the KaBuM! also developed an action and strategy game that combined adrenaline and technology. Simulating Counter Strike matches in real life with laser tag, the guests competed in teams or individually, with infrared light beams.
