    How AI agents impact businesses

Artificial Intelligence (AI) has ceased to be an assistive tool and has become an essential element in the transformation of businesses. Today, AI agents not only assist, but reshape the way decisions are made and processes are conducted. According to data from the report Top Strategic Technology Trends for 2025, do Gartner, a leap in the adoption of Artificial Intelligence Agents is expected, in business applications, increasing from 1% currently to 33% by 2028.Companies from different sectors adopt these solutions to optimize operations, reduce errors and automate tasks, driving productivity and efficiency.

Unlike traditional chatbots, that only respond to questions based on predefined commands, AI agents operate autonomously, interacting with systems and continuously learning from real-time data. They perform functions ranging from the analysis and approval of documents to the management of complex processes, such as logistics and technical support. In ERP and CRM platforms, for example, integrate and analyze large volumes of information, generating strategic insights and facilitating business management. Companies like Microsoft and Google already incorporate these agents into their ecosystems, allowing the automation of workflows without requiring advanced technical knowledge.

The adoption of these agents has been transforming operations significantly. Repetitive tasks are automated, freeing professionals for strategic activities. Decision-making becomes more accurate, based on real-time data analysis, reducing failures and increasing the quality of services. Furthermore, the integration with business systems allows for more efficient information management. Sectors such as industry, retail and finance are already experiencing these advances: factories use AI to predict machine failures and optimize maintenance, while in retail the personalization of the consumer experience becomes more sophisticated, analyzing preferences and shopping habits.

For this transformation to occur safely and efficiently, it is essential to adopt an AI framework that ensures governance and protection in the use of robots and intelligent agents. Specialized solutions use Generative AI to simplify processes, accelerate executions and enhance team performance, reducing thetime to marketwith intuitive conversational interfaces and low-code applications. An example of this application is ChatSync, an AI agent developed for SAP environments, integrated into platforms like WhatsApp, Telegram, Slack and other communication tools. It automates tasks such as purchase approvals, internal requests and operational notifications, ensuring that information flows quickly and securely. With robust authentication and multiple layers of validation, ensures data integrity and facilitates the automation of critical processes, such as financial reports and request management.

The adoption of AI agents is no longer a competitive differentiator, but another necessity for companies seeking innovation and growth. As these technologies evolve, your influence on productivity and decision-making will become even deeper. The future of work is being redefined, and those who know how to integrate artificial intelligence into their strategies will get ahead

The adoption of AI depends on us filling the current data gap

Most companies in the world are adopting artificial intelligence in their operations. There are certain business structures that are independent of the company's area of activity, how to have a marketing department focused on creating campaigns that ensure more customers, most satisfied customers, advertising etc. It is not being and will not be different with AI. It is safe to say that basically every organization will have within it, in some process or even in an entire department, AI applied to different levels of problems and solutions

A very current field of this adoption is occurring through AI agents, created to be co-pilots of various activities, mainly those that require interaction with the customer, in order to ensure a better experience. But, it is not enough to implement AI. Like any technology, solution, system, AI requires a certain infrastructure.

A coherent and cohesive data platform is extremely necessary, because it can be used to train the AI with all the information that the company already has, whether about your clients or about any other detail involving your operation. This training is complex and depends, largely, of primary data on interactions carried out over years of transactions. This is essential for creating efficient marketing strategies

While 81% of brands claim to be "good" or "excellent" at providing positive customer engagement, only 62% of consumers agree. Only 16% of brands strongly agree that they have the data they need to understand their customers, and only 19% of companies strongly agree that they have a comprehensive profile of their customers (Twilio Customer Engagement Report 2024). It's all about the data gap!

It is crucial to fill in the data gaps. In fact, many companies are merging to gain deeper insights into their customers, merging your databases. Any AI is and will always be as good as the data that feeds it. Without the knowledge of how to act better, she will be working with gaps that make all the difference

You must have already encountered this situation. For example, if you are buying shoes online and ask an AI chatbot about a new shoe model that has not been announced yet. A misguided AI can provide false information based on rumors, inventing data about comfort, versatility and usability of the product

This happens because the lack of data is what really limits this technology. Data is the greatest resource we have today. Companies cannot afford to have an AI hallucinating or lacking relevant data, harming the experience of its customers, or even critical systems.

With the correct data, what would happen in this situation is that the AI would inform the consumer about the non-existence of the product they are looking for, and as a complement, it could also provide information about options that are already sold and that match the consumer's profile; explain why the sneakers he is looking for, for now, they are just a rumor originating from unreliable sources; and even offer to get in touch with the consumer when new models that fit their preferences become available

The need for processed data, unified, verified and reliable, available in real time, is constant. Databases are more important than ever, because even to advance in AI competitiveness, they are still the cornerstone of the entire process. That is why the first step to be taken is to fill the data gap. Only then will the true potential of AI be unleashed

The global IT services market will generate US$ 600 billion in 2025

As companies face increasing cyber threats and stringent compliance requirements, becomes increasingly essential, for the market, the support of IT service providers (MSPs) that are capable of ensuring the managed security of their data and operations. This is the bet of the vast majority of leaders of this type of company around the world, according to the studyThe MSP Horizons Report 2025. The report shows that 90% of the executives who participated in the survey expect an increase in the revenue of their cybersecurity services in the next three years. This scenario means an increase of ten percentage points compared to the 80% recorded last year. The work was developed by N-able (NYSE:NABL), leading provider of cloud-based software solutions for managed service providers

The expectation of increased earnings from cybersecurity services is shared by Brazilian companies such as ADDEE, largest national reference in providing management solutions, monitoring, data protection and security for IT service providers. According to the CEO and founder of the company, Rodrigo Gazola, this year ADDEE will direct strategic efforts to further enhance its performance in security, in partnership with N-able itself, of whom she is the exclusive representative in Brazil.

"Solutions like EDR", LOL, Backup and DNS Filtering will be the focus of communication and campaigns, accompanied by an enhancement in technical support and training for service providers, said

Backup SaaS advances and requires adaptation

One of the most highlighted areas of growth by the interviewees in theMSP Horizons Reportit was called Backup SaaS, regarding, for example, to applications like Microsoft 365, Google Workspace or Salesforce. Among the interviewed executives, 53% said they will adopt this practice in the future

Based on the answers, those responsible for the research assess that the future of backup and disaster recovery is being shaped by a significant movement in this industry. They claim that RMM (Remote Monitoring and Management) providers are acquiring or building backup technologies, just as corporate suppliers are acquiring players focused on small and medium enterprises (SMEs) and vice versa. In this scenario, the perception is that backup also offers MSPs the opportunity to expand their total addressable markets due to its strong potential for resale movement

Gazola explains that, in Brazil, the RMM was the catalyst for the operational change of managed IT service providers, allowing the monitoring and remote management of environments, what transformed the provision of IT services

These solutions remain strategic for ADDEE, because they represent the foundation for MSPs to deliver added value to clients. Fifteen years ago, these solutions were scarce or expensive, within the national market and we were able to bring a transformation in the way companies viewed their operations and services. "We still continue to do this work today", affirms

For the realization of theMSP Horizons Report, more than 450 MSPs from all continents were asked to provide feedback through an online questionnaire distributed by N-Able itself and by Canalys, through its website Candefero. The contacts were made between October and November 2024, and Canalys also interviewed 16 companies in the sector during the process, what provided qualitative feedback on the main topics and trends in the IT market

Routing technology is Yuno's differentiator to maximize successful transactions

In light of its permanently innovative character, e-commerce undergoes frequent transformations and, therefore, is subject to a series of challenges in completing the payments. From unexpected processor failures to the use of incorrect information by the client or indications of fraud, these impasses directly impact the revenues of retailers and the customer experience in their shopping journey.

In this sense, smart routing technologies arrive to contribute to how to predict the best payment options. Oneresearch conducted by Cornell Universityindicates that the implementation of this system resulted in an increase of 4% to 6% in transaction success rates. In line with this scenario, a Yuno, global payment orchestrator developed the tool forSmart Routing, that was designed to automatically select the best payment route for each transaction, maximizing success rates, reducing costs and eliminating the need for manual adjustments.

While traditional payment routing is based on static rules and often results in unnecessary failures, Yuno's solution adopts a dynamic and data-driven approach. The system analyzes the historical performance of suppliers, regional preferences and real-time conditions, ensuring that each transaction follows the most efficient route. This results in faster and uninterrupted processing, increasing the reliability and financial performance of companies

Smart Routing stands out for its ability to adapt and continuously optimize payments. Among its main benefits, it is possible to highlight the feasibility of tsmart decision-making groups, since each transaction feeds the algorithm with details such as location, payment type and supplier costs, what allows the system to choose the most efficient route to maximize approval rates and minimize commissions

The tool ensures that there is acontinuous optimizationin the system, that automatically adapts to market conditions, the reliability of suppliers, transaction patterns and approval rates, what automatically improves routing decisions and payment fluidity. Furthermore, companies can test different routing strategies in real time, adjusting the transaction flow to maximize efficiency

"With the use of Smart Routing", companies can expect immediate results in increasing customer retention, it results in fewer payment failures and reduces the number of abandoned purchases, improving consumer satisfaction and loyalty. The retailer can also benefit from internal operational advantages by reducing processing fees when directing transactions to the most profitable suppliers, in addition to making it easier to manage international transactions and optimizing the workload, "allowing internal teams to focus on business growth instead of solving operational problems" highlights Walter Campos, General manager of Yuno

THESmart Routingit is not just a common routing solution, as it takes transaction optimization to a new level. The use of advanced algorithms and proprietary logic allows for the prediction of the best routes to maximize approval rates, allowing companies to trust Yuno to enhance their overall payment efficiency without the need for manual adjustments
