The Transfer, company integrating banking systems, crypto and financial through solutions based on blockchain technology, announced the launch of the Next Leap program. The initiative, supported by Unisuam, Sicoob Companies, Coinchange and EBM Group, will select three startups to exhibit at the Web Summit Lisbon, The world's largest technology and innovation event, in November 2024. Registration is open until 9 August
The Next Leap programme will initially select 20 startups for a series of online workshops and mentorships with executives from Transfero and the partner companies. Topics covered will include business development and revenue models, marketing and customer acquisition, product development and innovation, fundraising and investor relations, in addition to team management and organisational culture. At the end of the mentoring week, Three startups will be chosen to receive tickets to the event, with paid accommodation and tickets for two people per company
Selection Criteria
To participate, interested start-ups must meet the following criteria:
- Be less than 5 years old
- Have less than 150 employees
- Offer unique software products or solutions or be developing connected hardware devices
- Not being registered to exhibit at Web Summit Lisbon
- Have not raised more than $1 million in funding
Program Schedule
- Registration opens: 5 August
- Registration completion: 9 August
- Announcement of the 20 startups selected for mentoring: August 14th
- Workshop and mentoring period: 19 to 23 August
- Announcement of the 3 startups that will be attending Web Summit Lisbon: 26 August
- Period for networking with the Transfero ecosystem and partners: September and October
