Co-productions with publishersThe study of Dosdoce.it also reveals that the Portuguese language audio industry generates around 30 million euros per year, mainly driven by five activities: publishers (59%), studios that produce audio content in Portuguese 26,5%), means of communication (7,5%), companies that offer audio-related services (4%) and platforms that sell content in this format in Brazil (3%), like Skeelo

Although it seems like a small percentage, this last category ends up being one of the biggest promoters of the sector by investing in the production of audiobooks through publishers. Market projectionsFor the coming years, the prospects for audiobooks are even more optimistic. This trend is reinforced by the report "Audiobook Global Growth Report", published by the Frankfurt Book Fair, that projects a 10% growth for the sound entertainment industry worldwide by the end of this decade
