The PL Connection, main event ofprivate labelfrom Latin America, announces its 2024 edition, what will happen from September 17 to 19 at the Blue Pavilion of Expo Center Norte, in São Paulo. Promoted by Francal and Amicci, the event will bring together companies, buyers and industry experts to drive the growth of this market.
According to data from Nielsen, while the participation of theprivate labelsin the Brazilian market as a whole was only 2% in the first quarter of 2023, the global average is 23%. This contrast reveals significant potential for growth in Brazil.
The organizers expect to gather more than 3,000 visitors at the event, that aims to promote the meeting of ideas and businesses through qualified content with national and international speakers. The programming will be more comprehensive, including lectures, workshops, discussion panels and networking, providing participants with a complete experience and various business opportunities. Some confirmed speakers are Ana Paula Gilsogamo, representative of the Mintel Group, besides Pedro Cajueiro, Manager of Casa & Vídeo, and Ana Maria Diniz, Founder of Instituto Península.The event will also feature several lectures at the PL Connection Arena, bringing general and technical content to the sector.

The 2023 edition featured 43 exhibitors, distributed among the Food sectors (60,6%), Beauty, Health and Well-Being 23,2%), Various (9,1%) and Pet (7,1%) and attracted 2.500 visitors, of which 60% were decision-makers, including managers (18%), directors (19%) and CEOs (23%), representing 18 Brazilian states. The event also hosted prominent retail networks, like Petz, PayLess, Carrefour, Assaí Wholesale, RaiaDrogasil, Sumire, Lopes Supermarkets, GPA, Panvel Pharmacies and Petland.
