On the next day 09, the ESG Committee of the Union of Cargo Transport Companies of the State of Paraná (SETCEPAR) will hold the 'Sharing ESG Experiences', an online event aimed at presenting and promoting examples of good environmental practices, social and governance.
Josana Teruchkin, director of SETCEPAR and responsible for the entity's ESG Committee, explain that the sector has made significant progress on the sustainability agenda. Sharing experiences is always an excellent opportunity for everyone to learn about the topic, to draw inspiration from already implemented projects and apply ESG practices in their businesses.
According to Teruchkin, Road Freight Transport is responsible for more than half of all goods transported in the country, therefore, there is a commitment, while sector, to minimize environmental impact, be socially responsible, support the surrounding communities, bring diversity to a sector that is still so conservative and continuously improve governance in companies. "No SETCEPAR, we have the mission of engaging all companies in the sustainability agenda, with events that promote learning for everyone, since it is a topic that still presents many challenges for implementation.
For this event, the entity will present companies that have stood out in these practices and show what they have done to achieve their goals. Ritmo Logistics will talk about its sustainable fleet, the Southern Carrier will address diversity, Agile Logistics and Rodonery Transport will address governance in the second generation.
