The Brazilian Institute of Legal Sciences (IBCJ), in partnership with the Center for Economic and Social Law Studies (Cedes), will take place this Saturday (20), at 9am, the Congress "Advocacy and Justice in the Age of Artificial Intelligence". The event, that will feature the participation of renowned specialists, it will take place at Teatro Gazeta, in São Paulo, and will have free entry.
The Artificial Intelligence (AI) tool is already impacting the legal universe, and the meeting will discuss its application possibilities and the precautions it inspires. For Thomas Law, president of IBCJ and vice president of Cedes, The Congress will provide a clearer view for its jurist peers on how AI is being used and its potential.
"With this event, we want to assist in the improvement of our colleagues in the legal profession regarding Artificial Intelligence". It is imperative that this topic is disseminated, be it to assist them in day-to-day management, in task automation, in data analysis and case law, within the reach of new clients etc, whether to discuss the ethical and regulatory challenges we currently face. "We need to unite the class so that it can move forward with technological transformations", highlights.
Among the topics under discussion, the panels will address the insertion of AI in the Judiciary. The first panel will discuss the digitization of the Superior Labor Court, with the participation of ministers Guilherme Augusto Barros and Sérgio Pinto Martins. The third panel will address the application of AI in the National Justice Council and in the São Paulo Courts, with the presence of CNJ member Guilherme Guimarães Feliciano, of Judge Eduardo Azuma Nishi, and from the judge of the 1st Labor Court of Caieiras, Rui César Publio Borges Correa.
