Efí Bank is the best company to work for in Brazil in the financial services category, according to Great Place To Work (GPTW). The company ranked first among medium-sized institutions in the 6th edition of the Financial Institutions ranking, announced on Tuesday, September 24.
World-renowned, the ranking identifies the best companies to work for based on the analysis of aspects such as quality, organization, and trust. "We are very proud to be part of this renowned ranking. Even more so knowing that the evaluation heavily considers the opinions of our own employees. This shows how right our choice is to always prioritize the health and well-being of our team in organizational decisions," says Evanil Paulo, CEO of Efí Bank, about the certification.
The initiatives that guarantee the top spot in the GPTW ranking for the company go beyond career plans and internal growth opportunities. Two years ago, they adopted a four-day workweek. In addition to the shortest week, the institution offers its employees extended maternity and paternity leaves (7 months and 1 month, respectively), as well as language, undergraduate, and postgraduate scholarships, along with educational grants for employees' children up to 17 years old. They also include health and dental insurance plans, life insurance, and meal and food vouchers in their benefits package.
With a talent retention rate of nearly 90%, Efí currently has around 500 employees spread across the country. About 90% of them work remotely from home. For this, they also receive state-of-the-art equipment (including a computer with two monitors) and furniture and accessories meeting all ergonomic requirements to work from home under the same conditions offered to colleagues who choose to work onsite at their headquarters in Ouro Preto.
The institution has also won, for two consecutive years, the GPTW title of the 2nd best company to work for in Minas Gerais.
